Jansons School of Business organized a corporate confluence on 24/11/2023, was delivered by Mr. Hariprasad Kandaswamy, Deputy General Manager-HRBP at Schneider Electric India Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore.

The resource person has explained the session on the topic “Emerging need for HR Business Partnership” by briefing their production units, business sustainability practices, performance, awards, recognition, and their journey. The product portfolio and certifications obtained were detailed.

One team with three complementary pillars, skills required for human resource business partnership, and factors to be considered in mitigating the war for talent were outlined. Various types of industries, workforces, and recruitment methods, including talent acquisition across generations, were discussed. The selection process, key talent screening, step-by-step hiring process, utilization of social media for recruiting, and campus selection processes were explained.

Emphasized on talent acquisition, mobility, and diversity in hiring, with a brief explanation of the digitalization of the talent acquisition process. The navigating of a poly-crisis world and the explanation of core capabilities of skills-based enterprises, including the FineMen technique, were shared. The session was concluded with an assertion that ‘ Purpose + Personality will lead a person to success’.
