The Global Confluence at Jansons School of Business on 05.02.2024 was delivered by Dr. Vasheer Hassan Abdul Razack, Senior Associate, Kets de Vries Institute and Executive Coach at INSEAD Malaysia.

The session was on the topic “Challenges in Leadership” and the speaker addressed global occurrences and emphasized the significance of ESG and the depletion of natural resources. The concept of leaders as the “merchants of hope” was highlighted, and traits of Leadership were illustrated through a video interview with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The commencement of leadership and insights into human behavior were briefly touched upon, emphasized the importance of self-awareness for leaders, supported by examples from various leaders. Six key points crucial for leaders were discussed as demonstrating effective team motivation, problem handling, decision-making, and the art of listening.
