On 5th February 2025, Jansons School of Business hosted a highly insightful Corporate Confluence and Dr Guruprasad T S, Associate Director at Cognizant, Coimbatore delivered an engaging session on “Supply Chain Analytics.”

The session began with an interactive exercise where students listed their weekly purchases, including details such as initials, age, gender, and residential status. The speaker expertly demonstrated how real-time data can be leveraged to interpret buying patterns, optimize procurement processes, and analyze purchasing behavior. He highlighted the key topics like spending analysis and category management, benchmarking and demand forecasting algorithms, contract management and inventory optimization.
