Jansons School of Business organized a CXO confluence on 20.02.2024 on the topic ‘Opportunities for MBA’s in the development sector in India’.
Mr. Arumugam Gurunathan, Director, The DHAN Academy, Madurai was invited as the resource person. His experiences at IRMA and Amul were shared. He fondly quoted Mr.Verghese Kurien, the founder of Amul, as his inspiring model.

Significant information about the role of The DHAN Academy and government schemes for rural development were conveyed. The necessity of IQ and EQ for professionals was suggested for sustainable development initiatives.

He has elaborated on the extensive job opportunities available for MBAs in the development sector relevant to poverty reduction, social capital and microfinance benefits, Farmers Producer Organizations, Mutual Insurance and the eligibility criteria were explained.
