Jansons School of Business hosted a Global Confluence on “Frameworks for setting prices – Strategies and Mechanisms”.

The keynote speaker Prof. Ramdas Chandra, Associate Professor of Professional Practice, Rutgers University, New Jersey emphasised that the pricing is the fundamental element of business strategy and its pivotal role in influencing profitability, market share and customer perception. He also highlighted the ‘Elements of Pricing Strategy Model’ to determine the best price for their products or services.

He discussed three components value – Based pricing, Uniform Pricing and Cost Based Pricing. He highlighted the power of pricing in leveraging market dominance by customization based on specific customer segments, regions or individual client based on their preferences or willingness to pay. Overall, this session offered valuable lessons and benefitted the students to finetune their career decisions.
