Milaap’17, the JSB alumni meet was organised on 11^th November at JSB campus. Alumni from many batches of JSB participated in the event. Many came a day before and left a day after, thoroughly reliving their student days in JSB hostel and campus.

The programme started with special address by the Chief Guest of the day, Mr.N.Ramkumar, a technocrat turned entrepreneur who has co-founded companies like Cusp digital solutions, Foodie forever etc. He is also the President of Alumni Association of Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. His address emphasized the need for alumni association and its benefits for the alumni. He highlighted the power of networking, particularly among alumni of the same institution. Mr.Ramkumar asked the JSB alumni to form a proper alumni association and organise periodical meetings and events. The alumni found the speech very appropriate and useful.

The function was graced by the presence of Mr.T.N.Thirukumar, Vice-chairman – Jansons Institutions, Mr.S.Mohan, CEO- Jansons Institutions and the faculty members of JSB.

The alumni had a detailed meeting on formation of alumni forum and alumni chapters.

The meet had interactive events, games and cultural programmes in which both alumni and current students enthusiastically participated.

Milaap’17, which was a special edition on the occasion of JSB turning 15 years, was a celebration for the alumni too.
