Profile

Dr. Sunil Puliyakot is a Fellow of XLRI Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur and a Post Graduate from Institute of Rural Management, Anand.

He  brings with him a rich blend of experience gained from working in the industry and academics. His industry experience of about 15 years comprises of managerial positions in reputed organizations like GCMMF Ltd. (https://amul.com/m/about-us), JM Financial Group (https://www.jmfl.com/who-we-are/about-us) and ICICI Bank (https://www.icicibank.com/aboutus/about-us.page?) before moving to teaching in the year 2006. Corporate experience include exposure to areas like accounting and control, capital markets, sales and distribution of financial products and retail banking.

He has also served in some of the reputed business schools like Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore (https://www.amrita.edu/school/business/coimbatore/) Rajagiri Business School, Kochi (https://www.rajagiribusinessschool.edu.in) and Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, New Delhi (https://www.lbsim.ac.in/). 

His teaching and research interests are in areas spanning the intersection of finance and economics.  His teaching orientation and research trajectory is supported by valuable insights into the working of financial markets and financial intermediaries achieved through keen interest, practical experience and academic research.

He has published articles related to his teaching and research interests in peer reviewed journals and editorially reviewed publications.
