A quiz programme focusing exclusively on Inte ational Marketing area was organized on 24th September. 5 teams consisting of two I MBA and two II MBA students in each team participated in the competition. The programme had 5 rounds of quizzing covering various aspects of inte ational marketing. After the five rounds of tough competition, teams 4 and 5 were with equal points. And in tie breaker, Team 4, Ganesh, Asif of 2012 batch & Priyadarshanya, Karthikeyan won the first place. The second place was won by Team 5 consisting of Srinivasa Raghavan, Siddesh of 2012 batch & Prenith and Nithish of 2013 batch.

An interesting competition on advertising was held on 17th September. The participants were to identify and pick out the television advertisements which are produced reflecting culture of different people. Then the participants were to explain how culture has been used to as a platform to portray the product or service. It was a 10 minute presentation followed by 3 minute question and answer session. The teams had both seniors and juniors in every team. The first place was won by the team of Rammkumar, P.Balaji, Pillai Vishnu of 2012 batch and Pranith Menon, Nitish kumar of 2013 batch. The second place was won by the team of Ashwin R, Vishnu Harikumar, Rohan Joseph of 2012 batch and Nitya vasan Nair, Jyothi of 2013 batch.

The Third MARC event was conducted on 3rd September. It was a competition on buying and selling. The better negotiators would win the prize. Ten teams of five Buyer and Seller teams participated. The Seller team promoted the product for five min and followed by the negotiation between the Buyer and the Seller Team for ten min. MARC was excited to see the 2013 batch who participated with full enthusiasm.
